This machine is quiet, easy to put together and very inexpensive. If you're looking for more pure rowing without all the bells and whistles, this is a machine for you. I've tried many machines that are loud and bulky and was always resistant to having a in-home machine because. I'm a true believer in... there's nothing better than being on the water. So when there's ice on the water there's no better substitute.

WE bought this couple of moths ago and we love working out on this. It have good amount of resistance as well. for beginner you won't be able to go above 2 for cardio session.
